Registration for GUADEC 2007 is now open. Held annually in cities around Europe, GUADEC is the largest get together of GNOME users, developers, foundation leaders, individuals, governments and businesses in the world. In its 8th consecutive year; GUADEC 2007 is being held at the UCE Birmingham Conservatoire, in Birmingham, England, from Sunday 15th July, until Saturday 21st of July 2007.
Keynote speakers this year include well known Free/Open Source advocates from both within and outside the GNOME project. Stormy Peters, Paula le Dieu, Ari Jaaksi, Doc Searls will all be giving keynote talks, as well as community members such as Robert Love, Alex Gravely, Havoc Pennington and Bryan Clark, and Jono Bacon.
The schedule consists of nearly 80 sessions split into three tracks looking at future projects, showcasing current developments and workshops to tackle difficult issues. There are also a number of tutorial sessions, and lots more lightning talks.
