I'm a GNOME contributer and user for a long time. I'm the coordinator of Turkish Language Team, and also being an active member of Gnome Turkiye (www.gnome.org.tr). I'm also active member of GNOME Foundation. I'm in Foundation as a Membership Committee member in last Board of Directors election and referandum. Currently I'm the chair of Membership Committee after Vincent left upon his electing to Board.
About GUADEC
GUADEC is a unique forum that highlighs the capabilities and direction of GNOME - the user environment for desktop computers, networked servers and portable Internet devices. GUADEC also features meaningful discussions of the future direction of Free Software and Open Source development in general.
This is the eighth year in which the developers and users of GNOME will gather in person to discuss the future direction of the project, and to spread word of GNOME and the benefits of Free Software
